  • London St Pancras

Depart from London St Pancras between 7 AM and 11 AM on the morning of trip start date.
  • Paris

It's no secret that Paris is one of the most romantic cities in Europe and one of the most visited cities in the world. So if you take a rail holiday across Europe, Paris is a MUST! There are endless reasons to visit Paris more than once, it is not only a beautiful and cultural city, it's very walkable and hosts great sights, and it has been a source of inspiration for many writers, artists, and filmmakers. As Audrey Hepburn famously said, 'Paris is always a good idea', and we couldn't agree more. From those bucket list attractions like the Eiffel Tower to picture-perfect pleasures like a picnic on the Champ de Mars, Paris really does offer something for everyone!
  • Interlaken

Welcome to the adventure capital of Switzerland, Interlaken! This stop on the interrail route is sandwiched between the two lakes in the centre of Switzerland. Surrounded by natural beauty Interlaken is for the thrillseekers and adrenaline junkies. Packed with tourist attractions and boat tours on lakes Thun and Brienz. Interlaken is one of the oldest, best known, and most popular Switzerland holiday resorts! If you want to try something different on this rail holiday, why not take a visit Jungfraujoch?
  • Rome

The ultimate interrail route includes the capital of one of the world's most powerful ancient empires, Rome. A truly fascinating city! History, art, architecture, and Roman ruins, the entire city of Rome is a UNESCO World Heritage site. The Eternal City is worth a visit at least once, even though it would take you a lifetime to explore everything it has to offer visitors! Get ready to embrace the dolce vita lifestyle, where locals see everything through rose-tinted glasses, life is a never-ending holiday here.
  • Overnight Ferry

Overnight ferry from Rome to Split.
  • Split

Split is becoming an important destination for those taking rail holidays, and when you're there, you will understand why! Set beside Split's sparkling harbor, with the palm-lined Riva promenade along its southern facade, Diocletian's palace is one of, if not the most impressive Roman ruins in the world. Game of Thrones fans will recognize it as the home of the Mother of Dragons. You cannot visit Split on this interrail route and not have a cup or ten of Croatian coffee. Stopping for coffee is a relatively cheap way to soak up some of the city’s most famous highlights! Enjoying the water sports or tanning at the beach is another reason to visit the magical Split! Bacvice beach is the perfect place to unwind.
  • Zagreb

One of Central Europe's oldest cities. Zagreb is young and playful at heart, a vast amount of history exists amongst the Old Town. At night, you will find the city centre comes alive and transforms into an open-air party. Unlike other European cities (i.e, Amsterdam and Paris), Zagreb is a city that is not instantly recognisable. Enjoy exploring and discovering local life, without the added pressure of having to tick off those famous tourist sights.
  • Ljubljana

Visit Ljubljana, Slovenia's capital city is the hidden gem of Europe on this rail holiday, an interrail route favourite! A city renowned for green space, beautiful bridges, and buildings. As well as dozens of different urban design elements such as lamp posts, pillars, and pyramids. This makes the city even more visually appealing! While you're here, you NEED to visit Lake Bled! This is definitely one of the most spellbinding places in Slovenia, if not Europe. This incredibly scenic lake near the Alps looks too good to be real! With the island church, clifftop castle, and mountain backdrop, you're sure to find more than enough to keep you entertained here!
  • Budapest

Next stop on The Euro Trip rail holiday is Budapest! This interrail route takes you to the city in Europe that is nicknamed the City of Spas for a reason, as it's filled with beautiful baths all with healing properties. Not to mention, the architecture surrounding the baths is a sight to see on its own! Take a walk through the streets of this city and you will notice the beauty becomes apparent. You will soon understand why many tourists flock here for a city break every year. The buildings take on many architectural styles and the city is famous for its Art Nouveau architecture. Budapest's foodie scene is increasingly interesting, with plenty of restaurants and cafes serving up delicious local dishes such as goulash!
  • Krakow

When you travel across Europe, you will find that there are many beautiful cities, but nothing compares to the beauty of the Old Town in Krakow. You can take on this city by foot as all the main sights are within walking distance. All of the cobbled streets and squares, scenic parks and medieval castle walls are added extras! Thousands of people visit this city every year with the aim to visit the poignant Auschwitz-Birkenau Memorial, which is unquestionably the most important trip to do on this interrail route.
  • Prague

It's no secret that Prague is one of Europe's most magical, affordable and beautiful cities, a perfect addition to any interrail route. The 'City of a Thousand Spires' is an architectural gem, the city has been an important UNESCO World Heritage Site which attracts more and more tourists every year! The narrow streets open up onto fantastic squares which host to medieval-looking homes and historical buildings for you to explore! Start in the centre of the Old Town, home to the major sights and has been the city's main marketplace for a millennium.
  • Berlin

Berlin is a city often compared to New York, as it never sleeps! The locals here are known as the lotus-eaters of Germany as they love nothing more than a good time. Don't let this put you off! As this city is pulsating with museums, tasty beer, and an unimaginable history! It's safe to say that Berlin is a city loved by those on a rail holiday across Europe. Remember that history will greet you at every corner, as Berlin once staged a revolution, headquartered by Nazis, bombed to bits, divided in two and then finally reunited.
  • Amsterdam

The last stop on your rail holiday around Europe's glorious cities is Amsterdam, often referred to as 'Venice of the North'. The capital of the Netherlands is a city on everyone's bucket list, and I think it's safe to say you need to visit the Dam at least once in your life! From unconventional restaurants, local craft beers to world-class museums, it's easy to see why it's at the top of everyone's list. Don't forget that this city has more bicycles than people, therefore the only way to explore is in true Netherlands style!
